Educational Requirements: First Class B.Sc. degree in Computer Science / Computer Application /Information Technology followed with one year fulltime professional qualification or one year experience in the server based software application development from a recognized Institute /Organization
Qualifications: First Class Diploma in Information Technology/Electronics and communication or Electronics Engineering of at least three years full time duration or at least 2 years full time duration in case of lateral admission in Diploma courses or its equivalent with experience of 2 years in the relevant area/field.
Experience Requirements: Experience in Unix/Linux server based software development for data retrieval, graphical display and computation process using Oracle database,PHP and Java Script. Also experience in using applications like GMT, Ferret, Matlab, etc is preferred.

Educational Requirements:First Class Diploma in Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Industrial Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering of at least three years full time duration or at least 2 years full time duration in case of lateral admission in Diploma courses or its equivalent with experience of 2 years in the relevant area/field.
Other Qualification:The selected persons are required to assist the project leaders and other team members in the operation and maintenance of sophisticated analytical equipments, electronic instruments, computer systems and electrical equipments used in laboratory. The job also involves participation in the oceanographic research cruises or field work of the institute along with other project team members as and when required for the operation and maintenance equipments used for the data and sample acquisition
Experience Requirements:Experience in the operation and maintenance of oceanographic instruments and computer based scientific / analytical instruments used at research laboratory or on board aoceanographic research ship.
